Celia Barreda is a native of Lima who graduated from American University in Washington DC before moving into cinema and television producer training at the New York Film Academy. Celia began work at United Talent Agency in Los Angeles where she worked in the Indy department, coordinating the agency’s calendar for international film festivals such as Cannes, Sundance and Toronto. She also assisted in the coordination of sales and distribution of films such as Julia Leigh’s “Sleeping Beauty” for IFC Films and managed the agenda of artists such as David Michôd (Animal Kingdom), Ariel Kleiman, Mike Birbiglia, Sebastian Silva, Christine Vachon and Mike White.
Celia returned to Peru in 2011 in a Supervising Producer role at Patria Producciones where she oversaw various cinema and advertising projects. In 2014, she collaborated in the founding of Sangre.
Celia took some personal time in 2016 to develop and fund an online art gallery that she manages as a side business.
A return to production in 2017 finds her reunited with Alejandro Noriega as Producer in charge of his production company’s service work at PSN Peru.
