The historic Oscar sweep accomplished by South Korean feature film Parasite is a fitting culmination of efforts made by a nation of filmmakers that knows no borders.
Filming in Spain was already underway during 2018 when South Korean producers of the Netflix series, Memories of the Alhambra, reached out to our Production Service Network to scour Europe for a train, station, and tracks they could control for filming with explosives.
Their choice to work with PSN Hungary in stations outside Budapest resulted in scenes edited seamlessly with those from Spain.

In an industry gone digital where CGI is ever more believable – even if the storylines aren’t –, it is encouraging to know that post-producers and actors agree there is no substitute for shooting on location.
The first ones in and last ones out of a location shoot are the location managers. PSN is proud to partner with the Location Managers Guild International and pleased to see due recognition among its ranks at the 6th Annual LMGI Awards next month. PSN Turkey is even among the nominees for this film!

The Austrian Alps are a singularly enormous mountain range with towering peaks thousands of meters high offering breathtaking panoramic views. The exceptional locations here have inspired many filmmakers to capture the luxury, sport, adventure and intrigue.
The Alps have always drawn spy stories. The Living Daylights, featuring Timothy Dalton as Bond, was shot in Begrenzt in the Alps in 1987. Quantum of Solace was filmed in Feldkirch in 2008, starring Daniel Craig. Maybe this has something to do with the quirky fact that Ian Fleming actually learned to ski in Tyrol while he was studying in a school run by a former British spy.Continue reading
