Q: Can you tell us a few top reasons projects shoot in Thailand?
A: Thailand is home to world-class crews, art department, special effects, and studios. The country has an incredibly vast range of urban, jungle, beach, and rural locations. In an industry gone digital where CGI is ever more believable – even if the storylines aren’t –, it is encouraging to know that post-producers and actors agree there is no substitute for shooting on location.
The first ones in and last ones out of a location shoot are the location managers. PSN is proud to partner with the Location Managers Guild International and pleased to see due recognition among its ranks at the 6th Annual LMGI Awards next month. PSN Turkey is even among the nominees for this film!

That was the pivotal question I recently addressed at a gathering of commercial producers and directors in Dusseldorf drawn to discover Exceptional Places For Shooting.
Rather than hold them in suspense until the end, I hope to have not disappointed my gracious hosts at production house Zeitsprung by answering up front that there is an EXCEPTIONAL place for every creative brief. But that doesn’t make finding it any less extraordinary.
What unites all of us as storytellers is a passion to do what it takes, go where we must, to shoot the content that advertisers can craft into a campaign to be remembered.
And at any given time there are briefs floating about that fit exceptionally in most every country where we find well-stocked film hubs at the ready to execute film and photo projects.
