Val Kupeev

Val is one of the key architects of the new Russian federal incentives program for foreign filmmakers – a leadership role making him a go-to contact for Hollywood Studios, film offices, and production houses at home and abroad, while polishing his English, Spanish, and Italian.

[cont.] Val worked his way up from junior post-production coordinator to deputy director at the major Moscow studio of CineLab, where he oversaw dozens of projects. From 2018 to 2019 he helmed international relations at the Moscow film commission, where he overhauled the film permitting system an enabled the execution of more than 300 projects. Val later returned to production to head the service division at the PSN Russia Partner.
