The three Baltic States – Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania are a great mix of different eras and styles, where the past and the future, east and west, intersect, and where the comforts of the modern world are combined with historical settings. From here one can find look-a-like locations for Finland, Norway, India, and European capitals such as Amsterdam, Berlin, and Vienna.

Tallinn’s medieval Old Town, dating back as far as the 11th Century, is one of a kind in the world. The centre of neighbouring Riga with its pastel and Art Nouveau architecture has been called the ‘Paris of the North’, and Vilnius with its cobblestone streets and gas lamps already makes you feel like you have stepped onto a film set. All three capitals are distinguished with UNESCO World Heritage recognition.

But make no mistake, the Baltics are not only a showcase for history. Tallinn’s downtown, with glass and steel skyscrapers, seaside promenades, and a hip fusion of authentic and modernised industrial architecture from the end of the 19th Century, transports one from medieval times to modern city life of Scandinavia.

The Baltics are well known for their untouched nature and beautiful countryside full of virgin forests, sandy beaches, wetlands, and endless fields. The three countries are also rich in beautiful manor houses and castles of different styles and eras.

Nature offers 4 distinct seasons, all with entirely different scenery. During the wintertime the snow-covered Old Towns of Tallinn, Riga, and Vilnius offer magical Winter Wonderland views and atmosphere unlike anywhere in the world. The summer season from June to August, on the other hand, offers up to 24 hours of daylight, warm temperatures, and exceptionally long and scenic magic hours.

The PSN Baltic Partner opened its Tallinn office in 1995, and since then the company has built a reputation for its production of award-winning films and commercials, as well as being a reliable partner providing production services for foreign film and TVC productions in the Baltics and also in Finland. Our Academy Award nomination, Golden Globe nomination, international theatrical release of several of our films, and co-productions with international production houses speak for themselves.

Our locations, work ethic, and value for money have attracted many well-known directors. Over the years, we have had the honour of working with directors such as Klaus Harö, Pekka Hara, Juuso Syrjä & AJ Annila, Marius Holst , Zaza Urushadze, Yoon-Ki Lee, Shashanka Chaturvedi, as well as successful Estonian directors Tanel Toom, Martti Helde, Andzei Matsukevits, Helen Takkin and many more.

Our film producers are always in search for new coproduction opportunities and can help you tap into local and international funding for your projects.

We are looking forward to having you here on the shores of the Baltic, so don’t hesitate to contact us for your next shoot.
