Caribbean Soul with Strategic South American Support

Trinidad and Tobago (T&T) offers a unique cinematic duality: the industrial grit and cosmopolitan energy of Port of Spain paired with the untouched, “postcard” serenity of Tobago’s white-sand beaches. As the southernmost link in the Caribbean chain, it serves as a sophisticated logistical bridge between the West Indies and South America.

The Production Reality & Regional Synergy: T&T is a highly developed hub with a skilled local workforce and established film-friendly policies. To maximize the scale of your production, we utilize our Brazil-based PSC to architect a hybrid approach that draws from the best of the neighboring territories:

Incentive Mastery: For 2026, the Production Expenditure Rebate Programme remains one of the most generous in the region. It offers a tiered cash rebate of up to 35% on qualifying local spend, plus a significant additional 20% cash rebate for hiring local labor. Our team specializes in maximizing these “uplifts” by integrating high-caliber local technicians into our department structures.

The Venezuela-Brazil Supply Chain: While T&T has its own resources, we bridge any technical gaps by leveraging our deep history in the region. We coordinate the movement of specialized equipment and supplemental crew from Venezuela (just 7 miles away) and our primary technical hubs in Brazil. This allows for a “heavy-duty” production footprint—incorporating specialized grip, lighting, and camera tech—while maintaining a local hiring strategy that secures your rebate.

Logistical Fluency: As an ATA Carnet territory, T&T allows for the smooth temporary importation of gear. Our Brazil team manages the cross-border administrative flow, ensuring equipment from the mainland arrives seamlessly to augment local kits.

Our Role: We provide the “Optimal Approach.” By hiring local T&T talent to anchor the 20% labor rebate and reinforcing them with our Brazil-managed technical supply chain, we deliver a Tier-1 production experience. We navigate the FilmTT (Trinidad and Tobago Film Company) applications and mandatory audits, ensuring that while you capture the islands’ vibrant culture and diverse landscapes, you are also capturing the Caribbean’s most aggressive financial returns.

Reach out with details about your project so we can evaluate how it’ll come into focus in T&T.
