Our global experience has prepared us to support our client’s shoots with only the best. Our success is a happy client

Paris is the top destination for creatives who want to associate their brand with the romanticism of France. From cars to perfume to fashion it is Paris where commercial producers find iconic backdrops such as the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Montmattre, bridges over the Seine, and much more that add the French touch to film, photo and video shoots.

That much more extends across a country with a wide variety of locations. Less than an hour’s drive outside Paris you’ll find fields, villages, and forest. Lovers of wine can’t pass up on a visit to the vineyards of Bordeaux. Venture high in the Alps for snow then cruise a couple hundred kilometers down to the Mediterranean seaside where the legendary French Riviera is home to the fashionable towns of Cannes, Nice, St. Tropez, and Monaco.

The image of luxury can mislead people to think France is expensive. That’s not necessarily so when you can shoot at world famous landmarks like Montmarte or Notre Dame Cathedral for free! And there’s no fee to shoot on the streets of Paris.

French film celebrities add weight to a local film industry producing over 200 feature films every year with budgets of all sizes. The lack of union quotas invites producers to come and shoot with their own crew or hire local crew as needed.

Car films in iconic locales are a speciality. Local availability extends to equipment like the Ultimate Arm, Russian Arm, Motion Control, and underwater studios while some of the world’s best post-production houses are also here for you – BUF Cie, Digital District, Mac Guff and Line to name a few.

Dating from our early production days for Tarantino’s A Band Apart, the passing years have brought opportunity to work alongside standout talents like Directors Chris Applebaum or Jérôme Salle; photographers Jeff Manzetti, Jean Baptiste Mondino, and Mario Testino; as well as producer Jeffrey Frankel.

We’ve even teamed up simultaneously with director Floria Sigismondi and photographer David LaChappelle to work behind the scenes on a promo for Viacom’s 2017 MVAs.

Our production services for TVC shoots have seen us work with clients from Asia, Europe, and America.

We are looking forward to hearing from you.Contact us.

Veteran producer Nicolas Bétrancourt brings the world to France. Decades of experience shooting award-winning commercial films and music videos in his home country have served him well during recent years …

[cont.] dedicated to providing great crews, amazing natural sets, and the guilty pleasure of a glass of wine or two or three with filmmakers and photographers from all over the planet. Because what’s the point of shooting in France if you don’t enjoy wine at the end of the day, honestly?

Nico, as he is widely known, was born in Le Havre, France, in the 60’s. Facing Southampton, not so far from Liverpool, he could be considered the 6th or 7th Beatle. Really! His choice of images over music may have cost recording studios a rising star, but the film industry got a hell of a producer instead.

As a young producer, Nico surfed the late 80’s wave of advertising and music videos working at Premiere Heure, the hippest production company in town. This fiery chap got involved in no less than a thousand of ad films and music videos and even won the very first award for a music video in France.

Later established with a bunch of mavericks under the famous flag « C’est La Vie Productions » in Paris and London, Nico enlivened the 90’s with the most popular music videos and advertising films of the decade.

But as most all great rock’n’roll bands, C’est La Vie Prod’s skyrocketing success sputtered out, and Nico took his life back as he embarked on a new millennium.
