The Financial Reality: The 35% cash rebate is a powerful but selective tool. Qualifying for it is a high bar for foreign projects: it requires a local Dutch co-producer, a rigorous 75-point cultural/technical evaluation; and at least 50% of the budget must be demonstrably secured at the time of application. Consequently, it is largely utilized for deep co-productions rather than service projects.
Our Role: We serve as your logistical anchor in the Netherlands. For commercial producers, we can provide rapid-turnaround permitting and high-tier casting. For features, we provide an honest assessment of incentive eligibility and manage the mandatory local partnerships required to navigate the Dutch Film Fund’s administrative hurdles.
