Michael Savitz has worked in the commercial film production industry for over 25 years.  He is co-founder and Executive Producer at one of the largest and most successful production houses in Florida.

[cont.] Michael started as a high school intern at a large commercial production company in the area, until it was time to go to college.  He then worked for ABC news and dabbled in radio and television movie production before returning to his first love – advertising and the production of commercials.

At the ripe old age of 25, Michael was bestowed the coveted Silver Medal Award, a lifetime achievement award, by the American Advertising Federation (AAF/Miami).  He currently is President of AICP Florida and serves on AICP’s National Board of Directors.   He has served as Chairman of the AICP Show in Florida, as well as the ADDY Awards Judging Chair.

Michael’s mother still doesn’t know what he does for a living but was overheard telling a friend that he makes wedding videos.  Michael lives in South Florida with two beautiful daughters, a gorgeous beach to the east, and the Everglades practically in his backyard.  His kids will tell you that their dad is the bestest, until he refuses to buy them the latest iPhone.

The spot has won DGA director of the year awards for Martin de Thurah, as well as AICP honors for best production (yay, us!), best visual style, and best cinematography!

USA Florida

Sexy locations, year-round beautiful weather, experienced technicians and crew, modern equipment, and a culturally diverse talent pool

Are just some of the reasons why creatives and producers from around the globe come to shoot their projects in Florida and the Caribbean.

Contact USA Florida

Miami is one of the sexiest places on earth for filming, with its gorgeous beaches and world-famous Art Deco architecture. A few hours to the north is Florida’s other production center: Orlando. Foreigners love filming in the Orlando area for its unique locations, including many areas that can resemble the ‘deep south’, providing for a small town feel, as well as its state-of-the-art soundstages.

Whether it’s a hip urban environment with a downtown skyline, a quiet suburb, a pristine beach, a tranquil lake, rolling hills, or even wild swamps, Florida offers it all!

Florida’s lower production costs for everything it offers makes it a favorite location in the USA for filming. In addition, Florida offers a sales tax exemption which further helps reduce the bottom line.

We have been providing production services for international clients for almost 20 years. Our top-tier support extends to the southern charms of New Orleans and across the Caribbean to the Bahamas, US Virgin Islands, Haiti, Barbados, St. Lucia, and Cayman Islands. We’ve serviced commercials in Dominican Republic for Bacardi with MJZ. In Jamaica we’ve worked with Anonymous Content to produce a Puma commercial featuring Usain Bolt and a music video featuring Lorde. We’ve also tapped into Puerto Rico’s incentive as we facilitated the filming of a Corona Hard Seltzer commercial campaign with Imperial Woodpecker.

From London to Berlin to Paris, our clients continue to return year after year.

So, come talk to us, visit us, play with us. America’s beautiful, tropical playground awaits your arrival!

PSN USA Florida delivers experience working with

  • Production houses like Anonymous Content, Iconoclast, Stink Films, MJZ, Epoch Films, Somesuch, Serial Pictures, Imperial Woodpecker, The Directors Bureau, ANORAK, Soup Films, UnLtd Prods, Assembly Films, Little Minx...

Winner of Teddy Award for Best Short Film at Berlin International Film Festival 2012, Nominee Golden Berlin Bear for Best Short Film Berlin International Film Festival 2012.
Loxoro is a Peruvian short film presented within the framework of the Fronteras project of the cable television channel, TNT. The short film portrays barriers that exist within the gay and transsexual community of Peru, and how they act as borders.
Loxoro is about the search made by Makuti (Belissa Andía), a transgender mother, for her also transgender daughter Mia (Ariana Wésember), after her disappearance. In her search, Makuti goes through all the spaces in which Mia’s life developed, reflecting in these the hidden face of the transsexual world of Lima, a community that closes in on itself to defend itself from marginalization and that has its own language.
