Nikon Asia honed in on Budapest’s largest and oldest train station after a pan-European search. The campaign for the D610 full-frame camera allowed us just 2 weeks to lock down station and 2 platforms for this magic hour shot.

“I have to say that the team in Budapest really made the production process a pleasure. We really liked their professional can-do attitude and nothing was too much trouble.”
Trudi Koh, Amanacliq Executive Producer

Budapest doubled for Moscow in this 3-day shoot during 2012 that called on specialist drivers and local stunt doubles for a downtown car chase and a number of stunt scenes. A foreign crew of 16 + 3 talent – no work visas required – worked in secured public locations with our local crew of 60, including the pivotal role of AD.

Locations included the Budapest underground and train station, where we controlled 5 tracks during 2 days to accomplish a chase scene full of stunts, firearms, and military wardrobe brought in specially for the scenes featuring Oded Fehr and Piper Perabo pursued by Russian military guards.

Two hi-end balconies of a classic European style convinced the USA Network to shoot this scene in Budapest. They even changed the script as a result! The most beautiful part of Budapest takes center stage for this 2-day TV series shoot during 2013 where a local crew of 60 and a couple talent worked alongside 4 foreign talent and crew numbering 18.

“I would highly recommend them: they were professional, dedicated and well-liked by our American crew, and the shoots both went smoothly.”

Budapest doubles for Moscow in this amazing show with lead actress Piper Perabo where we closed a 2 kilometer road right next to the Danube river for a car scene. The complicated, two-page scene called for stairs from this road where ANNIE is chased and saved by her hero. Show creators got extra mileage out of the abandoned palace ruins and subway.
