Serbia

Serbia has seen an exponential increase in overseas productions shooting locally over the past few years

The tax rebate programme, also benefitting commercial and documentary filmmakers, has given a massive boost to the Serbian filmmaking industry, converting it into a very film-friendly destination. What’s more, passport holders from a wide range of countries do not require a visa. Belgrade has excellent connectivity with the rest of the world with many airlines connecting to Serbia.

Contact Serbia

Serbia has an incredibly diverse set of locations to offer, from modern to medieval, national parks with rivers and mountain ranges. Multiple locations are all within easy traveling distance. For example, Kalemegdan Fortress situated on the convergence of the Sava and Danube rivers, in an urban area of modern Belgrade, can be used for shoots as a castle, fortress, ruined city, or just as a park.

Up in the Dinaric Alps there is Tara Mountain, the peculiar rock formation of Devil’s Town, nominated in the New Seven Wonders of Nature campaign; National Parks like Kopanoik or Derdap, with the fortress of Golubac. The capital city of Belgrade and second largest city Novi Sad contrast with Niš, one of the oldest cities in Europe.

Serbia has world-class studio facilities, state-of-the-art equipment, English-speaking crew, and film-friendly locations. It’s a simple and efficient process to apply for permits to shoot in most places in Serbia. We offer a competitive bid to our clients interested in shooting in this region.

Send us an email, and let’s chat soon about your next shoot!
